The Selection Committee will consult the following criteria to select the nominees and will consider the accomplishments of the nominees in terms of the technology available in the late 19th and early 20th century:
- Reputation - The degree to which the nominee is known nationally and/or internationally.
- Professional Achievements - The degree to which the nominee has benefited society.
- Service and Career Contributions - The degree to which the nominee has made an impact on the world with contributions beyond his/her professional achievements.
- Uniqueness - The degree to which the nominee is a distinguishable and unique role model. List the key reasons why the nominee satisfies the guiding philosophy, as stated above.
