Directions:
The complex is situated on Fuller Road in Albany. If you are traveling by car, you can use GPS navigation services or online maps for specific directions based on your starting location. When you arrive, you will see a security officer at the security gate, please tell them that you are a visitor for RPI..They will direct you to the visitor’s parking area.

The Albany NanoTech Complex is a large, secure facility and all visitors must check-in through the Visitor’s entrance. Due to security protocols at the Albany Nanotech Complex, it is recommended that participants arrive 10-15 minutes early for the check-in process. Please see the below ID requirements. Visitors will be denied access to the site if they fail to meet the ID requirements. 

Visitors must be accompanied by a badged host at all times. Additionally, photography and/or video recording are not permitted at the Albany NanoTech Complex (in / between the buildings).

ID Requirements: 
US-citizens: All individuals must bring a valid government issued photo ID (State Driver’s License or State non-Driver’s License ID) or Passport. For individuals that are 17 years of age without a driver’s license or passport will need to bring their birth certificate and social security card. 
Permanent Residents (GreenCard Holders): For non-US citizens with permanent resident status, please bring your US Green Card.  
non-US citizens: All non-US citizens must present their Passports at the security check-in. Only the non-US citizens who have received the background clearance will be admitted to the site. Background checks take approximately 10-12 business days to complete.
