We invite you to the RPI Semiconductor CoLab Catalyst Seminars.  

The RPI Semiconductor CoLab at the Albany Nanotech Complex (ANC) is a key component of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s presence in the U.S. semiconductor research ecosystem. This 6,000-square-foot facility serves as a hub for research, collaboration, and academic programming, reinforcing RPI’s leadership in microelectronics and semiconductor innovation.

About the Series
The RPI Semiconductor CoLab Catalyst Seminars bring together faculty, researchers, industry leaders, and partners to share ideas, highlight collaboration, and advance semiconductor innovation.

Two 45-minute talks with a networking coffee break (except for special seminars)

**The students / researchers are welcome to showcase their work and connect with the industry during the networking break, we invite you to present a poster. Please indicate in the registration form.

Directions:
The complex is situated on Fuller Road in Albany. If you are traveling by car, you can use GPS navigation services or online maps for specific directions based on your starting location. When you arrive, you will see a security officer at the security gate; they will direct you to the visitor’s parking area.

The Albany NanoTech Complex is a large, secure facility and all visitors must check-in through the Visitor’s entrance. Due to security protocols at the Albany Nanotech Complex, it is recommended that participants arrive 30 minutes early for the check-in process. Please see the below ID requirements. Visitors will be denied access to the site if they fail to meet the ID requirements. 

Visitors must be accompanied by a badged host at all times. Additionally, photography and/or video recording are not permitted at the Albany NanoTech Complex (in / between the buildings). 

ID Requirements: 
US-citizens: All individuals must bring a valid government issued photo ID (State Driver’s License or State non-Driver’s License ID) or Passport. 
Permanent Residents (GreenCard Holders): For non-US citizens with permanent resident status, please bring your US Green Card.  
non-US citizens: All non-US citizens must present their Passports at the security check-in. Only the non-US citizens who have received the background clearance will be admitted to the site. Background checks take approximately 10-12 business days to complete.
