My name is Anqesha Murray and I am the National Liaison for the GWIS New
York Capital Region chapter. We are holding our first networking event
called Women Shifting SySTEMS on April 23rd from 11:00 am - 6:00 pm in
collaboration with Women in Physics and the Society of Women Engineers
local chapters at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. This is a hybrid
event that includes virtual, live, and streamed sessions.
The purpose of this event is for women to network and hear how women in
science have shifted the systems they are navigating, how they are
creating their own lanes, and making a story for themselves.
We would like to offer career workshops during the event such as whats listed below.

Breakout Room 1: How to Negotiate
Breakout Room 2: How to Interview
Workshop Session #2
Breakout Room 3: How to Network
Breakout Room 4: How to Balance
